Can we hear you sing before booking?

Yes. There are videos on the gallery page of live ceremonies, cocktail hours and my regular performances, so you can hear how I sound in a real setting rather than in a studio.

Do you learn new songs?

Of course! If there is a song that means something to you, or you simply love it, I will prepare it at no extra cost if it suits my voice, even if it is not in my repertoire. All I need is at least four weeks' notice, so I can work on it properly.

Do you sing with live music or to backing tracks?

Both. I work with instrumental backing tracks, prepared and rehearsed in advance, with the length already adjusted to each moment of the ceremony. I can also sing with musicians you have hired, no problem. In that case I speak to them beforehand so everything is agreed.

Can we have live musicians (piano, guitar, violin)?

If you hire them, I coordinate with them and we share out the moments between us. And if you do not know where to start looking, tell me and we can look into it together.

What happens if the ceremony is outdoors and it rains?

You need an alternative covered space, both for the performance and for the equipment. If there is one, rain cancels nothing: we move and sing just the same. Electrical equipment cannot be set up in the open, so it is worth planning for from the start. That is why I ask you about it when you book and not in the final week.

How far in advance should we book?

I recommend booking 3-6 months ahead. May to October is high season, so the earlier you get in touch, the better. The date is only confirmed once the deposit has been received.

Do you attend the rehearsal?

I always arrive early enough to do the sound check calmly. If there is a rehearsal at the church, with the musicians or with the organisers, we look at it and coordinate according to what you need. And if I do not attend, I speak on the phone with whoever is leading the ceremony so the timings are clear.

Do you work outside the Valencian Community?

Yes, I sing all over Spain. In Alicante and the surrounding towns (San Vicente, San Juan, Mutxamel and El Campello) there is no travel supplement; beyond that a supplement applies depending on the distance, which you will see in the rate sheet I send you.

Do you sing at religious ceremonies in church?

Yes. If the church or you have an organist or other musicians, I coordinate with them; otherwise I can sing to my backing tracks when the venue allows it. I adapt to the acoustics and to the priest's instructions, and we coordinate the liturgical moments in advance.

Do you bring sound equipment?

Yes, my own professional system, suitable indoors and outdoors. It is added as a supplement and all I need is a power socket, as I bring my own extension leads. If the venue already has a sound system, that cost does not apply.

Do you sing at outdoor weddings or at country estates?

Yes. I just need a power socket close by for my equipment, and to know in advance how the sound is arranged at that venue and what the plan is if it rains.

We're planning from Ireland or the UK. How does booking work?

Everything can be arranged by email and WhatsApp, so you don't need to be in Spain at any point. We agree the repertoire and the timings remotely, I confirm the quote in writing, and the date is held with the deposit. On the day, I arrive early to set up and do the sound check.

How do you work with our celebrant on the day?

I speak to your celebrant beforehand, usually by email, so we agree the running order and the exact cue for each piece: the entrance, the vows, the ring or sand ritual, the symbolic signing and the exit. On the day I follow their script. If they have a preferred way of cueing me, we use theirs. It means nobody has to look around wondering when the music starts.

Can you work with our wedding planner or venue?

Yes. Give me their contact details and I coordinate the timings and the sound directly with them, so you don't have to relay messages between us.
